Refer a Friend and Win a Power Pack!

The Teaching Resources Facebook page has been a source of joy and inspiration to me! Through my website I'm able to share strategies with teachers, but through the Facebook page I've been able to receive loads of wonderful ideas and advice in return. If you've visited the page yourself, you'll know that it's all about sharing and interacting. I love it!

To show my gratitude for Facebook fans and all of the teachers who use my site and refer it to others, I've decided to make Fridays extra special by giving away free ebook Power Packs and $25 Amazon.com gift cards. For several years I've been setting aside a part of my Power Pack eBook earnings to support teachers and classrooms. I've donated some of the money to Donors Choose projects, and now I'm also going to start sharing it with teachers who contribute to the Facebook fan page or forward my emails to others. Since these drawings will take place on Fridays and were inspired by the contributions of teachers on Facebook, I'm calling the program T.G.I. Facebook Freebies!

How to Enter

It's easy! Just sign up as a Facebook fan and refer others! After you read how the giveaway works, click the link below to sign up as a fan. Then share this information with your friends and coworkers. The more people you refer, the greater your chances of winning! Not comfortable with Facebook? Read below to see how you can win, too!

How the TGI Facebook Freebies Program Works

• Every Friday I'll log on to Facebook and randomly select one winner from the fans who post helpful links, give advice, or offer testimonials on the the Facebook fan page. That person will receive a free Power Pack of their choice.
• In addition, if the winner can give me the name of the person who referred them to my Facebook page, that person will win a free book too! If they found the Facebook page on their own, they can give me the name of the person who originally referred them to my Teaching Resources website.
• On the last Friday of each month, two winners be selected and one of the winners from that month will also receive a gift card for $25 to Amazon.com!
• Winners must respond to my Facebook notification message within a week in order to receive the free book and/or gift card.
• The winners' names and locations (state or country) will be listed on this page as recipients of the T.G.I. Facebook Freebie items.
• Note: You must have a free Facebook account in order to sign up as a Teaching Resources fan. Just go to www.facebook.com for details. Also, you must set up your profile so that your picture is visible and your name is "clickable." If your privacy settings prevent me from clicking on your name , you won't be able to win. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide you with email support for Facebook-related issues. There are many Internet resources to assist you with using Facebook.

Not a Facebook User? You can win too!

• For those who are not comfortable with Facebook, I'll choose another winner from those teachers who forward my newsletters to friends. You'll need to sign up for Candler's Classroom Connections and watch for the email newsletters.
• When you receive a newsletter, click the Forward to a Friend button and send it to other educators with a message telling them why you are recommending it. The more people you send it to, the greater your chances of winning.
• Every Friday after sending a newsletter, I'll check the "Forwards" data in my email program and select a winner to receive a free eBook Power Pack. I won't be able to see names, but I will be able to send an email message to you if you win. Winners must reply within a week to receive their free book.
